Rensselaer Campus Computer Store Return Policy

For a full refund, purchases in unopened boxes must be returned within 30 days of purchase. Original receipt must be included and a form of personal identification will be required such as a Rensselaer ID card.

Opened boxes may be eligible for refund within 30 days if

- item is clearly defective
- error in product recommendation by technical sales staff

A restocking fee maybe required on some items. Some items absolutely cannot be refunded if opened, such as software.

Tax: The appropriate tax amount by item will be included with your refund.

Credit Card Purchases: Your refund will be credited to the original credit card.

BURSAR Account Purchases: Your refund will be credited to your BURSAR account.

FOAPAL Purchases: Your refund will be credited to your FOAPAL account.

Items that are defective after 30 days will require direct contact with vendor of product.
