Adobe Acrobat Student License

Acrobat Pro is necessary to create Portable Document Format (PDF) files within the Windows operating system. PDF is the required format for the submission of various documents, such as Masters and Ph.D. theses.

Under Student Software Licensing, Acrobat Pro for PC/Windows is available for purchase in the Campus Computer Store for $65.

Note that Macintosh computers running a recent version of OS X, can create PDF files directly from any "Print" window, and no additional sofware is required. Acrobat Pro for Mac is available under Student Software Licensing as part of the Adobe Creative Suite Design Premium package at a cost of $309.
